I’m nobody special. Just a young wife and mother trying to figure it all out. I’ve got a (usually) wonderful husband named Lloyd, who has “entrepreneur” stamped in his DNA. And then there’s our little girl, Emma (actually Emmaline), who is constantly surprising me with insane, ridiculous things, but I love her to pieces! She’s three, and would like to be four, but not five. Last, there’s little Lloyd–referred to as III, as he is the third Lloyd (tricky, huh?)–he just turned a year old in January, and he’s the cutest little redhead around (and messiest, too)! I’m really not too crazy about writing, but it’s helping to give my days purpose beyond feed, clean, entertain, and repeat. And because I can write about it, I’ve been inspired to try new things out in my kitchen, which has been a lot of fun. I don’t expect to always entertain everyone, and I’m sure I won’t be the next Julie Powell, but this helps keep me sane, and I know my mother-in-law at least likes reading it, so I guess that’s enough for me.
